My first product release ‘Ready Set Go’, which will consist of multiple smaller releases to speed up your deployment. This first solution in the ‘Ready Set Go’ suite is titled ‘Contact Salutation’ and includes:

• A new Language table where salutations for different genders and formalities can be defined;

• Additions to the Contact table:

  • A ‘Language’ lookup column;
  • A ‘Formality’ choice column with values ‘Formal’ and ‘Informal’;
  • A ‘Salutation’ Formula column that generates based on the contact’s language (custom), formality (custom) and gender (default);
  • A ‘Ready Set Go Contact Form’ form which includes all necessary fields;
  • A ‘Ready Set Go Contact Salutation View’ view which includes all necessary fields;
  • A new security role ‘Ready Set Go - Contact Salutation’. This allows users to read and append data from the Language table;
  • A new model driven app ‘Ready Set Go’ to configure the languages;

• 15 example Language records with predefined salutations:

  • Arabic
  • Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Dutch
  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Greek
  • Hindi
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Spanish
  • Turkish
